Customer Requirement

Worksmart Technology are an award-winning system integrator and lead the charge when it comes to providing successful AV & hosted communications. Worksmart commissioned Promultis to fulfil the requirement of a 6 x 1 video wall and also to supply an interactive screen and software for a ‘Wall of Inspiration’ to be situated in the brand new Here East building, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London.

A digital signage solution was required for the 6 x 1 video wall screens including several scrolling banners with feeds of relevant local information. These included a clock, weather feed, twitter and local travel information as standard.

The scrolling banners needed to be easily updated by the client on a regular basis to feature branded events and promotions within the Centre.

Promultis Solution

Promultis engineers designed and constructed a 6 x 1 Video Wall fixed to a tall column. Within the frame structure Promultis fitted six 55” LED screens.

The Promultis software team developed bespoke software for Worksmart Technology. The software features several interchangeable scrolling banners with external feeds and branded internal information about the centre. A content management system has been developed using spreadsheets allowing the client to update the content.

For the ‘Wall of Inspiration’ The Promultis touch screen, set in the wall, displayed a menu structure mimicking the wall boxes. When a box is selected, further information relating to the object in the box is displayed on the Promultis interactive screen.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, launched London Tech Week in June 2017 and can be seen pictured in front of the 6 x 1 column.
