Sky Side wanted to create an interactive and engaging experience for children in the new Sky Zone area at Birmingham Airport. The aim was to offer young visitors a fun, hands-on way to explore behind-the-scenes airport operations, making aviation concepts exciting, accessible, and memorable while ensuring children were both entertained and educated.

Sky Side wanted to create an interactive and engaging experience for children in the new Sky Zone area at Birmingham Airport, allowing young visitors to explore behind-the-scenes airport operations in a fun, hands-on way. The aim was to make learning about aviation exciting, accessible, and memorable while keeping children both entertained and educated.
To support this, Promultis provided two Multi-Touch Cell Imaging Technology Tables. Featuring 43″–65″ 4K UHD interactive screens with up to 100 touchpoints using projected capacitive technology, the tables allow multiple users to interact simultaneously. Each unit includes a discreet PC compartment, supports external devices via HDMI, VGA, and USB, and offers customisable options such as object recognition and bespoke IMMERSE software. Together, these features created an engaging, educational platform perfectly suited to encouraging interactive learning within the Sky Zone.
