CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS

Our friends at Clever Association approached us on behalf of their client, AROYA Cruises, who underwent the largest refurbishment of any vessel to date. They appointed Clever Association, via Tigerplay, to deliver the technology elements within the Captain’s Zone — a children’s play area at just under 2,000 m², making it one of the largest play areas in the industry.

They required a durable LED Video Wall capable of withstanding knocks and bumps while displaying a vibrant, lifelike animated fish tank. They also sought Touchscreen Tables to allow children to enjoy interactive games, both interactive and non-interactive Floor Projections featuring Red Sea fish and AROYA Cruises’ mascots, as well as a widescreen projection of underwater light rays to illuminate the ball-pool wall.

PROMULTIS SOLUTION

To meet the needs of AROYA Cruises, Promultis designed, animated, developed, and installed a range of bespoke interactive technologies for their on-board experience. The centrepiece of the installation is a P1.95 COB 90° angled LED Video Wall measuring 3.75m x 1.5m, featuring custom IMMERSE Software that brings to life a 3D animated fish tank filled with vibrant Red Sea fish, created by our in-house team. Beneath the video wall, a bespoke sensor bar with eight sensors detects movement and triggers animations of AROYA Cruises’ mascots floating to the surface inside bubbles.

PROMULTIS SOLUTION

The Interactive Floor Projection uses a depth camera, projector, and PC to display animated Red Sea fish and mascots that react to footsteps with ripples, splashing sounds, and movement. Alongside this, the Non-Interactive Floor Projection shows the mascots swimming across the seafloor, complemented by a projected animation of underwater light rays illuminating the ball-pool wall.

Additionally, we installed two 55” UNO 2 Touch Tables, equipped with our Campfire Games and Apps Suite, offering classics like Pool, Air Hockey, and Aliens, all set against a bespoke background designed by our creative team.

The full installation was completed by our technicians in Bremen, Germany, in time for AROYA Cruises’ departure to the Red Sea. The Captain’s Zone is still under construction, with official photos and videos to be released soon.
