The Edinburgh Centre for Robotics needed a large, versatile display that could be used in a variety of ways, from presentations to interactive demonstrations. They wanted a solution that was state-of-the-art, fresh, and reliable, reflecting their position as a leader in the UK robotics sector and supporting their mission to train highly skilled researchers with both technical expertise and industry awareness.
PROMULTIS SOLUTION
Promultis designed and installed an impressive 4×3 interactive LCD Video Wall at Heriot-Watt University, tailored to meet the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics’ diverse needs. The system was configured to offer maximum flexibility, allowing content from the central server to display across all screens or enabling external devices, such as laptops, to be easily connected for presentations. Users can seamlessly switch audio between the server and external devices, while two external cameras have been integrated to enhance interactive demonstrations and research activities.
This state-of-the-art, reliable solution delivers vibrant visuals and versatile functionality, supporting the Centre’s mission to showcase robotics projects dynamically and train a new generation of highly skilled researchers.
