CUSTOMERS REQUIREMENTS

Fujifilm opened the FUJIFILM House of Photography in Covent Garden, London, spanning three floors to showcase their photography and imaging brands. They wanted a fully immersive customer experience that combined physical displays with interactive digital technology. Across all floors, the space needed to allow staff to easily update content in real time, while giving customers a new, engaging, and memorable way to explore products and brand stories.

This ambitious vision required a seamless integration of hardware, software, and design, setting a new standard for retail experiences in photography.

PROMULTIS SOLUTIONS

On the first floor, we installed the hardware that immediately captures attention and sets the tone for the entire space. The centrepiece is a 3×2 video wall running a bespoke digital signage solution, which allows staff to push images and videos to individual screens instantly and switch between seven preset layouts using a single management platform.

At the centre of the floor, an Interactive Totem draws customers in as they enter. Designed as both an information hub and wayfinding point, it allows visitors to explore weekly events, learn about staff members, including their languages and areas of expertise, and browse floor plans for all three levels.

We developed our in-house interactive software, IMMERSE, specifically for the Totem. IMMERSE powers a personalised questionnaire that guides customers through a series of questions about their photography preferences, helping them narrow down over 50 lenses to find the perfect choice. Once a selection is made, users can view detailed specifications and compare lenses, adjusting variables such as focal length and aperture to see the effects in real time.

On the ground floor, a unique interactive digital signage installation showcases Fujifilm photographers, featuring their videos, the lenses used, and short “about the photographer” sections. Videos autoplay on a loop until a customer interacts, creating a modern, engaging, and informative experience that brings the brand to life and allows visitors to connect with photography in a completely new way.
